GM Salmon
GM Salmon
Here we go again. No GM salmon will not compete with wild salmon
successfully. In the wild they will starve and starve quickly.
Evolution has already finely tuned salmon morphology to cope with the
current environment. An increase in size is one of the easiest
evolutionary problems to solve and sexual selection is a common
factor in size determination. Why are salmon not larger? Check out
some of Richard Dawkins books.

it's happened before. So anxiety is not
entirely unwarranted; for example, the release of engineered fast
growing salmon could be bad for salmon populations if their
engineered infertility breaks down
