Website for Sending Petition to Food Companies

Dr. Wayne Parrott of the University of Georgia has worked with Barry
Hearn of Australia to set up a dynamic new website
http://www.altgreen.com.au/Biotech/ where with one click you can send
your opinion on GM foods to several food companies. See below letter
from Wayne and please use this to show your concern to those boycotting
GM food or appreciation to those companies who have held steady on this
issue.

Subject: Website launched to help support Biotech

I have been working with EVAG (Economically Viable Alternative Green)
to

help them with their efforts to make it easier for people who support

biotech to make their views known to various food companies, namely
those

under intense attack by anti-GMO groups. Please take a few minutes
and

use the web page to provide feedback to these companies.* Also,
please

forward this message to as many people as possible. All these
companies

must have as much support as possible from GMO supporters, or they will
be

forced to stop using GMO products due to the intense and adverse
publicity

from the various antiGMO groups. Seldom has an issue become so
clear-cut.

The web page is at
http://www.altgreen.com.au/Biotech/WeSupportBiotech.htm

The bottom line is that there is no easy way to contact all the
companies

electronically, as most have incredible firewalls. Nevertheless, EVAG
has

done a superb job of trying to automate the effort as much as
possible.

Snail mail addresses, and where possible, fax numbers, are also
listed.

Please act now! For those who still are wondering just what exactly it
is

that the anti-GMO groups are saying, I have compiled a handy list of
web

links at http://www.cropsoil.uga.edu/~parrottlab/forum.htm. The page
has

links to pro-GMO pages as well.

USA:

Those companies which are still using GMOs, but are under intense
lobbying

efforts: Kroger, Safeway, Nestle, Procter & Gamble, McDonald's, Coca
